The title of this blog is inspired by the quote by the late Dr. George Sheehan, “Each one of us is an unfinished person in an unfinished universe.”
The primary purpose of this main blog is to serve as a portal into one unfinished person’s life, especially through three elements of not only who he is, but who we all are.
1. Body
2. Mind
3. Soul
In December 2007, I began the blog Journeying with the Saints to chronicle the rest of a journey through The Spiritual Exercises Of St. Ignatius of Loyola that began in September 2007 and ended May 2008. There, I reflected on the Exercises first and then, after I was done with them, on other devotions with a special emphasis on the works of the saints– from Ignatius to St. John of the Cross and St. Benedict, to name a few– as well as sharing resources for devotions and the Exercises.
I still continue to chronicle my spiritual journey here with a special emphasis on the Examen, as practiced by St. Ignatius of Loyola, in conjunction with a weekly meme called Sleeping with Bread.
I also may delve into the archive at Journeying with the Saints and share a link from a previous post there.
I also have a blog less serious than this one at Unfinished Rambler.

Brian -
I see you take good care of sharpening your saw, as Stephen Covey would describe it. Can I ask what you reflect on on Tuesdays and Thursdays? I figure the weekend is for R&R.

Stephen Covey? The name vaguely sounds familiar. I’ll have to Google his name later to learn more. :)
I rest on Tuesday and Thursdays too. Originally I had four blogs, this one, and one each for running, books and spirituality, with more posts each day there. But that got to be too much. So now in an effort to cut back, I limit myself to three posts on each of the two blogs I have. Here, it’s Motivation Monday, Midweek Review and Flashback Friday as described on each of these pages.

Um, well, it was until even that got to be too much and now I just post when I can.
