As we were going camping this weekend on Seneca Lake, one of the Finger Lakes in New York this past weekend, we passed this store in Watkins Glen. From a distance, I didn’t quite read it right and did a double take. Methinks, they should have been more careful when choosing the name of their store.

In the display at our local library for December are dolls, among which is this particularly creepy one:
My wife says it looks like the Infant Jesus of Prague.
To me, though, it’s this profile photo that I find most disturbing:
It’s as if he’s either saying, “Why don’t you come up and see me sometime?”, which is just wrong on so many levels when you think of to whom he might be asking this, or “I feel pretty, I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty, I feel pretty, and witty and gay.” Again, for all my homosexual friends, all two of you, I just want to say it’s not that there’s anything wrong with being gay, and, digging myself out of hole I just dug myself into with the both of you, it’s not to say that all transvestites are gay as Eddie Izzard claims.
And for those of my friends who are hiding their homosexuality from family and friends..make this Christmas bright and day, come on out for Christmas day.

My sister took this photo this past weekend, but didn’t feel it was appropriate for her blog, but thought it was appropriate for mine. Um, okay.
So even though I’ve said I’d do away with themes, I may return to the WTF Wordless Wednesday theme once in a while, especially if photos like this come along…which, er, that said, I hope they don’t. I don’t want to be caught with photos like this on my computer (but on my blog, sure, that’s fine).
She said they were two cows…and when she mentioned it to my father, he said sometimes they do that when they’re “in heat.” Way to go, ladies, though, in messing up what was going to be a nice photo of a horse in field. My sister said she didn’t notice them until later when she was looking at what she had snapped.
There’s the true WTF.
Here is my family this past Sunday afternoon as I walked in on them on what reminded me of a crime scene, the only thing missing being the yellow tape:
From left are my aunt Dianne, my brother-in-law Warren, my dad and finally my mom, who obviously didn’t want to be recorded. In fact, later, she told my sister (whose camera I used and who uploaded this via YouTube) and me: “DO NOT BLOG ABOUT THIS!”
You see how well we listened?
