In honor of the occasion, I would like to give an extra special shout-out today to St. Joseph for allowing me to have this burger, and a special shout-out to Renal Failure for pointing out to me that I could!
Amen.

Yeah, how did a godless heathen scoop you on this one? I hoped you thanked me when you bit into your ass burger (oh, wait, there’s a hyphen… big-ass burger, that changes things).
I like to think that God works in mysterious ways.

Abstaining from meat on Lenten Fridays is one of the few remaining vestiges of my practicing Catholicism, so thanks for the heads-up that I don’t have to pretend I’m a vegetarian at dinner tonight
. Laws were made for loopholes.
See you in hell, burger boy.
Ok, I’m so going to Burger Works today.
I hope you enjoyed it. (Sorry, I didn’t get your comment until now, for some reason, it was kicked into spam, but I saved it).
Hey, why not? Several years ago the Pope gave out special dispensation to us Catholics to eat meat on Friday, March 17th, which is St. Patrick’s Day, and of course, we all had to have our Corned Beef.
So why not a burger.
Hey, it is allowed under canonical law. Check out the links, baby (er, I mean, sir).
Considering that my husband’s name is Joseph, and he has a tendency to consume large burgers at any opportunity, I think I’ll share this information.
Thanks for the heads-up.

Ah, see? It was providential that I let you and your husband know. You can have him thank me letter by sending some Midwest beef.
You know, you’ve actually got me thinking I might order a burger from my favorite local burger joint. I’ve been trying to think what I’ve wanted, and it just sounds SO GOOD.
Not that I’m Catholic and need a loophole for burgers right now. But I can certainly support St. Joseph. I hear he makes a great children’s aspirin, too.
We have this place in town that makes really good burgers. Oh, just thinking about it, I’m salivating.
And I’ve heard the same about St. Joseph. He has a good hospital and university too, I believe.
