Books I’m “finding” while shelf-reading

A quick post here to let y’all know I’m still here and I’m still exercising (a little), reading (again, a little) and praying (can you guess how much? yep, that much). After killing off three blogs, I have started two more over at posterous: one called an unfinished person III and another with my wife and my sister called The Collective.

But for what I really called y’all here tonight is this:

An update of my list of books “found” while shelf-reading, because you might find some of these books interesting, or perhaps you’ve already read them and you can tell me if they’re worth my delving into them.

As I just wrote to a friend on Facebook about the list:

When I started at the library, I was pulling books that looked like they might be worth reading off the shelf and suddenly I had checked out 20 books. Now I’m taking a notebook with me and just writing down the titles that interest me so I can possibly return later to them. I don’t try to look for more books, but sometimes they just seem to be calling my name.

Yes, I’m that vain: that I just quoted myself on my blog. Wow. Regardless, not to be vain again, but what I just quoted from myself is true. I only am glad I am exercising some semblance of self-control and not taking out the books.

I don’t know about you, but now I want to hear the song:

Until the next time…when the post probably (rolling eyes) will be about me.
