This week’s Sunday Shout Outs go to two blogs who have a common theme: unicorns.
The first is Sean Donland’s Unicorn Rainbow Blood, to which I was introduced through Entrecard. One of the first posts I encountered on his blog was Got writer’s block? Write about Obama, which coincided perfectly with a post I already had using Obama’s name in vain. Sean also has an ongoing series called Quest for Hire in his ongoing quest to find work. For example, he believes his skills with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons might help him procure a position as a program and service delivery clerk.
The second is Chowner’s Free the unicorns, to which I was introduced through Humorbloggers. So far, my favorite among his posts was one called Jeopardy categories I would totally dominate. However, I’m sure if you and I go through his archive, we’ll find other posts that are funnier than that.
- Joe @ Crotchety Old Man Yells At Cars, in fact, talks about it being the “Big Game”
- Poobomber @ The Other Side of Normal isn’t all that jazzed about watching it and would rather do some other stuff.
- Aoi @ Politics by Satire says not to think about all the serious stuff (such as players’ salaries) when watching it.
- T-Rex @ Pterodactyl Puke is looking forward to watching The Boss during halftime more than the game itself and also earlier in the week gave us two predictions for the Super Bowl on which you can count.
- Rickey @ Riding with Rickey gives his own preview: of ex-Giants, Fabulous Steelworkers and Football Jesus.
- Grant Miller @ Grant Miller Media says Pittsburgh Steelers To Provide Hope for Struggling Welding/Dancing Industry.
- Kiki Walter @ flibbertigibbet tells us who won in Steelers Nation vs. The Woman Who Hated Sports: The Final Countdown.
- Tasty Booze Predicts Super Bowl XLIII.
- J-Two-O gives The J-Two-O Not-So Super Bowl Blog Post — with the Skivvies on All The Action, and we do mean skivvies.
- T.M. Lindsey @ Say Something Funny presents Top 10 Ways The Bad Economy is Affecting the Super Bowl.
- Surviving Myself gives his list of “certain things that can/will help” his Steelers win in lucky me.
- Neil @ Citizen of the Month tells us why he will be pulling for the Steelers in his special Super Bowl Edition.
- Charlie @ Where the Hell was I? presents a special Weekend Werind: Stupor Bowl edition, with a link to other posts he’s written on football (I know just what you need, isn’t it? more freaking links! I know I do, though and will be checking them out after the game if I’m sober enough).
- Chris Cameron from Angry Seafood, Matt from That Tears It and I gave our own predictions over at Humor Bloggers Fantasy Football League Blog.
- And last but certainly least
on Friday, I posted my own post on the game, sort of, with Don’t go and lay your hand on this Pittsburgh Steelers’ fan.
Tomorrow over at Humor Bloggers, I will be participating in the Groundhog Day Humor Carnival along with many other humor bloggers. Come on over and see if we see our shadow. I have a feeling at least for those of us in the Northeast, we are going tomight get hammered on Monday with a nor’easter, so Phil won’t see his shadow and winter will be over after this blizzard lame-ass storm.
I’m also a proud member of Humor-Blogs.com and Blogerella.
