Busy week, so without further adieu:

Meandering Monday: I posted about Failing at the No-Cry Challenge with only happy tears (cross post at unfinished ramblings) after Sue from Happy Meals & Happy Hours issued a No-Cry Challenge to a few YouTube videos that she thought we wouldn’t be able to get through without crying. It made me think of my own. Hint: Toy Story 2.
Tuesday’s Tunes: I remember the great (?) Groups (and a song) featuring continents. Can you think of others?
Wednesday: I didn’t do my usual Wordless Wednesday. Instead, I filled it with words from an interview with another blogger in a post called Meet astrogirl426 from Notes from the Bunker. It is part of The Great Interview Experiment, started by Neil Kramer from Citizen of the Month at the start of this year . If you haven’t heard of this, I encourage you to check it out even though I’m still waiting for my interview– after a couple of failed attempts.
Thursday: I participated in this week’s Booking Through Thursday about the best book I didn’t like this year in a cross post on Just A (Reading) Fool.

Saturday: I started a Personal Banned Books Week Challenge to read a book a day in honor of Banned Books Week, sponsored by the American Library Association among others, which was from last Saturday to this Saturday.
Sunday: I participated in Sunday Salon not just once, but twice. In the first post I not only shared what I would be reading for the day, but also highlighted others doing things in honor of Banned Books Week. In the second post, I talked a bit about reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and in a separate post, I reviewed Slaughterhouse-Five.
Monday: I continued my new feature Monday’s Memory about a book from my youth, with a review of The Outsiders, which also qualified for my Banned Book Week Challenge.
Tuesday: I missed out on my usual Tuesday meme things and instead did something that was long overdue in recognizing awards I’ve received and updating tabs and sidebars on this blog.
Wednesday: I reviewed The Giver.
Thursday: See above @ an unfinished person (in this unfinished universe).
Friday: I reviewed The Chocolate War and shared my Friday Finds, which I found at the bookstore where I work, one serious and one not so serious, using a post which also later can be found on unfinished rambling(s).

Kathy @ The Junk Drawer tells us she think she needs an intervention as she begins to share what her typical blogging day is, and I thought I needed an intervention! VE @ VE’s Fantastical Nonsense takes a look at some of our candies and helps me understand why I never liked Skittles.
