While surfing the Internet last night, I learned that Larry Norman, considered by many to the Father of Christian Rock, passed away on Sunday. Instead of me (who owns only one Larry Norman album) trying to say something about the man and his influence on the world, I’m going to pass along what I’ve found online that others have written in tribute to him, starting with his own obituary:

Now I’m going to pull out that album and listen to it and order “Only Visiting This Planet” (his albums can be found here: http://www.merchantmanager.com/phydeaux/MM003.ASP?pageno=27) in the near future — and pull out my two boxes of Christian rock music tapes and get together a list of a handful of other tapes I need to get on CD.
